I am a wife, mother, entrepreneur. I used to think my struggle was to find happiness and purpose beyond motherhood. I was letting being a mom define me and I was trying so hard to find my identity outside of being a mom but the truth is being a mom is ‘part’ of who I am. I realized I don’t need to find happiness aside from being a mom but rather finding the balance between all the pieces of me and my life. Finding balance and maintaining a positive mindset can seem like such a hurdle but it can be done!

Being a mom of 2, I know the struggles of losing weight, having a positive body image, balancing family with my career, managing a home, all while trying to find the time to take care of myself. I spent years putting myself last until I realized I had lost my identity. I didn’t know what my own interests were anymore.
Does this sound familiar? That guilty feeling you have when you want to focus on yourself. Well, I am here to tell you it is okay! It is more than okay! Focusing on YOU is a must! You love your friends, you love your family…you can love yourself too! #selflove

I never saw my self as a stay at home mom…that is until I had children. Balancing my career with my family was a constant struggle. I was constantly overwhelmed, disorganized, unproductive…and let’s just face the truth – I was loaded with anxiety and depressed. I knew I had to make a change.
It wasn’t just one thing that happened to help me down the path I am on today but a series of small things over a period of several years. I didn’t realize it at the time but the first person to introduce me to making a mindset shift was my husband. He was practicing self evaluation and awareness, reading personal development books, and implementing a morning routine that impacted his entire life.
I help busy moms find ways to take better care of themselves and live a more fulfilled, intentional life, by sharing my own journey and helping them on theirs. I am not a doctor or medical professional. The opinions I share here are my own. So my little disclaimer here – make choices that work for you and consult your physician before starting a new fitness routine or health routine when you feel necessary.

My goal is to motivate and encourage woman to take action and embrace change in their lives to help them reach their goals. I aim to equip woman with the tools and ‘mindset shift’ to experience balance and wellness in their lives. After all, the better we care for our selves the better we are able to care for others.
It took me years to put all the pieces together but it doesn’t have to be the same for you. If you are looking for someone who has all the answers – you are in the wrong place. I am on a lifelong journey to make a better life for myself and those around me. I welcome you to join me on the journey!
